AWCI MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Alleghany Wellness Center Inc. is to provide the people of Alleghany County and surrounding areas the opportunity to achieve and maintain healthy lifestyles through health education, medically-supervised programs, and facilities for physical activities and recreation.

AWCI will host another Eat Smart Move More class. Registration is Thursday, August 19th from 4 PM to 6 PM
at AWCI. Jacquelyne Gordon will again be our fabulous instructor. The class is scheduled for 10 weeks, and starts August 26th and the cost is $10.00 for the entire session The Program is a weight-management program and support group that uses a three-part approach to weight management:
Choosing a healthy diet
Moving more; and
Make lifelong behavior changes
Three new swim classes for September. Classes start Tuesday, September 14th
Level 1 - 6 PM
Level 2 - 7 PM
Level 3 - 8 PM
Meet every Tuesday for 5 weeks.
Cost for the 5 sessions $30.00 Members, $50.00 Non-Members.
